In the scene where Tony says "I'll be right back", he is standing in the very spot where Viggo Mortensen was struck with an arrow in The Road (2009). Both films were shot in Conneaut Lake Park, Pennsylvania.
In the scene with Doug Bradley, the Puzzle Box from Hellraiser (1987) can be seen briefly on his desk.
Most of the film was shot in Conneaut Lake Park in the spring, just before crews began renovating for the summer season. This helped give the park a worn look as most of the rides weren't even operating yet.
Tom Savini was in talks for a role but had to drop out due to filming Django Unchained (2012).
Doug Bradley only worked for one day.
