In his film debut, Harrison Ford has a small, uncredited role as a bellhop.

The final sequence of the film was cut from the film by the studio. It was a scene of the gang preparing for another heist 5 years later.

The name tag on the jacket worn by the bellhop, portrayed by Harrison Ford, reads "Thornton Wild".

Pre-release/working title was "Eli Kotch."

Both Harrison Ford and Paul Birch have small, uncredited roles. Birch was a regular on the 1960s television series The Fugitive (1963) (as Capt. Carpenter), while Ford would go on to play the lead character in the 1993 film remake The Fugitive (1993).
