IMDbYou will without a doubt be pleased with the sequel if you like the first Zombieland and fell in love with the characters and their gloomy, cynical charm. This film titled Zombieland: Double Tap is an exhilarating rollercoaster trip that manages to keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. There are so many times throughout the movie when you cheer heartily and then there are times when you grab anything that's close to you in dread for your heroes. It's a delight because it features the original cast, there is never a dull moment because of the characters' fantastic chemistry and entertaining conversation. There is action along with gore, but it all fits perfectly with the events and plot. The addition of new characters fits very well and simply enhances the fun. The references from the first part also add to the charm of the film and overall, this movie is a must-watch.

The story that Tallahassee tells in the hotel about his Elvis impersonation is the true story of how Woody Harrelson got into acting.
The Elvis Presley classic "Burning Love" that is played during the end credits was performed by Woody Harrelson.
Jesse Eisenberg said that it was very difficult to keep a straight face while filming scenes with Zoey Deutch.
Director Ruben Fleischer said that he was inspired to make Zombieland (2009) after seeing Shaun of the Dead (2004). The scene in Zombieland: Double Tap where Columbus and Tallahassee meet their 'counterparts' Albuquerque and Flagstaff may have been inspired by a scene in Shaun of the Dead, where Shaun's group of zombie apocalypse survivors meets another group that consists of remarkably similar characters.
The scene in which Columbus stands on top of an RV, directing Tallahassee and Wichita to which direction the zombies are coming from, came from the final battle in an early draft of Zombieland (2009) which involved Columbus and Tallahassee doing the same thing at an abandoned gas station.
"Wichita: When you love something, you shoot it in the face... So it doesn't become a flesh eating monster."
"Tallahassee: I have nothing against pacifists. I just wanna beat the shit out of them."
