TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

This movie was produced under a very limited budget of 2.5 million US dollars.

Perth is antipodal to Bermuda in the Atlantic. Therefore, an asteroid strike in the North Atlantic would leave Perth as one of the last places on Earth the firestorm would hit.

The Police Officer is using a Beretta M92 handgun; these handguns have never been issued to any mainstream branches of Australia's State Police forces (only to some special operations such as W.A. Police TRG - Tactical Response Group). The only semi automatic handguns they carry are Glocks, and Smith and Wesson M&Ps. Some Victorian branches are still carrying S&W 0.38 revolvers.

The drunk man from whom James steals the taxi is singing the Claremont Tigers' WAFL club song which shares most of the lyrics with the Richmond Tigers' AFL club song.

"[last lines] James: I love you so much. I'm sorry. I'm here. I love you so much. I love you. I love you. Zoe: I love you. Zoe: It's beautiful..."

"James' Mum: You know what pisses me off the most, James? I already did this. I already said goodbye to you a number of times - more than once. And you had to turn up for real. James: Sorry, mum. James' Mum: Don't be."
