TRIVIA

Trivia

The animation was produced as a by-product of the comic book production. The director/writer, Jason Turner, thinks of this as the "director's cut" of his comic book.

The dialogue from the comic was followed verbatim with the exception of an improvised line by actor Davis Lee DeRock, Jr.

A short live-action production is underway that involves many of the same cast and crew.

Kevin Pollux was written as a literal "cyberpunk", who had an illegal augmentation to his arm. This made him abnormally strong and had a hidden weapon within.

The creator Jason Turner wrote Sentinel as a one off short story to be adapted into a screenplay. However due to the specialty props required and helicopter shots he had in mind, it was decided to be made into a comic book. The book was self published, and was made to hand to producers to give an instant visual feedback of the world. However, books were handed out and nothing seemed to take root. Turner then decided to do a fully produced animation, similar in style to THE WATCHMEN motion comic. Actors took on speaking roles, lines recorded and then the score was produced.
