TRIVIA

Trivia

Screenwriters Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan announced this film to be in development in May 2019. However, production was halted for unknown reasons in October that year after only eight days of shoot and never progressed. As a result, many props from the shooting set was stolen. Finally in May 2021, two years after the film was first announced, Melton and Dunstan confirmed that the film will not be happening due to creative disinterest among the producers.

Director Marcus Dunstan confirmed during an interview in June 2022 that he's still very passionate about the third film and revealed he has been working on reviving the film's production, saying: "It's been slow and I think there's a lot of things to untangle, but we're going to use our time to hope that it all works out, because we got a chance." The films production was cancelled after just about a week into filming, with Dunstan himself confirming the news in 2021.
