TRIVIA

Trivia

The film was scheduled to be released in 2017. But due to the release of Pixar's Coco (2017) it was shelved for two years, as the Mexican Animation film had a similar plot and could not compete with Disney's Marketing campaign.

The film history started in 2004, but its production was delayed for years due to lack of budget. In 2011, Pixar's started working on Coco (2017), which was going to be called just as this movie, but since the producers registered their script and the title copyright in 2007 with the Mexican authorities, Pixar decided to change the name of their film.
