TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Screenwriter Dode Levenson named two of the characters Molly and Max after his maternal grandparents, Max and Mollie Katz.

The producers licensed 16 seconds of "Sixteen Candles" for when Molly Mahoney is watching TV as an homage to John Hughes.

John Burgess won the "Rising Star" award at the Naples International Film Festival for One Small Hitch.

The gong sound that signals Long Duck Dong's appearance onscreen in "Sixteen Candles" can be heard during the spa scene. A couple of minutes later, Molly is watching "Sixteen Candles" on TV.

Popular Dialogues

"Giselle: If you think that you've found someone that you can stand to be with, and she can stand to be with you even when you're both having really shitty days, and neither of you feel like shaving anything. And he looks at you like you're a Victoria Secret model in an old sweatshirt and jeans... Don't give that one up. Because if you think you're gonna find that with everyone you sleep with, you don't... I oughta know."

"Molly Mahoney: I am not wearing your dead grandmother's engagement ring. Josh Shiffman: Molly, if we're trying to convince... Molly Mahoney: You are out of your mind. Josh Shiffman: Molly. If we're trying to convince your mom and everybody else that we're engaged, an engagement ring is a good place to start. Molly Mahoney: Fine. But that did not come from Walmart. I do not really think that your grandmother would appreciate me wearing her stunning VVS1 1.75 carat princess cut diamond engagement ring. Josh Shiffman: Wow."
