Master is a Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi-starring action thriller that has been directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. This movie has been appreciated across the board for its stellar performances and gritting action sequences. And, the highlight of the movie is how fierce the villain is shown in the film, which in turn makes the hero a solid character. The movie's plot runs in a very classic masala movie style, where the entry of the protagonist makes issues go away from the lives of people around him. Master is how a modern filmmaker uses the age-old formula of massy cinema to appeal to the audiences. That said, it isn't as amazing as it set out to be. The plot seems to predictable at places, the action scenes have been extended longer than usual, and the chase scenes aren't that great. But the Vijay duo manage to save ship through performances that last in your minds after you end watching the film.
