Adam Hicks (Wen) wrote the rap part of "Determinate".
In the beginning of the film, all of the characters (except Mo) are seen wearing some aspect of orange or purple. Mo is seen wearing blue, which matches her boyfriend. As the film progresses, Mo gradually changes to purple and orange clothing. This symbolizes how although orange and purple are opposites, they complement each other to form the perfect balance. The director uses this tactic to display the same idea with the band.
Naomi Scott (Mo) and Nick Roux (Scott) dated in real life and in the movie.
Hayley Kiyoko and Bridgit Mendler both played recurring characters in Wizards of Waverly Place (2007).
Blake Michael (Charlie) was only 14 years old while filming the movie and 15 when it was released.
"Olivia: Oh, no, no, Wen, this isn't about Lemonade Mouth. This is about you not appreciating what you have. You have a family! Your dad, your sister, Sydney! I don't even remember my mom, I haven't talked to my dad in years - and you have the nerve to feel sorry for yourself? Wha... Okay! No! Fine! Go ahead. Give up! See if I care! I didn't even what to be in this band in the first place. Wen: Then why did you DO it? Olivia: [shouting at first and then quietly] FOR YOU, YOU JERK! I did it for you."
"Olivia: Poets, geniuses, revolutionaries. Lemonade Mouth has been called all of these things. But the real story, the story of our band came to be, is a mystery to them all."
