TRIVIA

Trivia

The movie which Sanjay Kapoor and Neha Dhupia are watching at theatre is For the Birds (2000).

The film got Neha Dhupia her sex symbol tag at that time.

Celina Jaitly was offered the lead role but turned it down as she did not agree with the character's morals.

Neha Dhupia starrer Julie is again in controversy and facing problems. However this time the film is not targeted by some rightwing social activists but by a resident of Malad, Shalini Kapoor. Kapoor has issued a legal notice to the producer N R Pachisia, production company V R Entertainers and director Deepak Shivdasani claiming that the filmmakers used her images on the posters of the film without her consent. She asserts that she was not associated with the filmmakers in any way and that the filmmakers deceitfully acquired her picture. Kapoor has claimed an unconditional apology from the filmmakers and may even claim for the damages.

The film did not have a theatrical release in British Columbia, Canada.
