Adèle is the only character to wear colorful clothing.

Although it looks like the story takes place during an extreme cold winter, Denis Côté claimed that it wasn't colder than -10 degrees during shooting. One day, the temperature even rose to 9 degrees.

The locations used were all about a 40 minute drive from Montreal, Canada.
