In the beginning interview scene, Rodney (Steve Olson) tells Susan (Kate Flannery) he is interviewing for assistant CEO. She corrects him and says assistant to the CEO. This is an allusion to The Office where Dwight would often say he was assistant regional manager only to be corrected that he was assistant to the regional manager. Flannery played Meredith on The Office.
"Woody: Hey neighbor, I couldn't help but notice your yard. Like over here, it used to be all lilies and now it looks like Afghanistan."
"Steve: Do you have a lot of bar-tending experience? Rodney: Well, personally I have a lot more bar-attending experience, know what I mean?"
