Dean Cain and Helen Slater as the voices of Jonathan and Martha Kent previously played Superman on The Adventures of Lois and Clark, and Supergirl in the Supergirl movie.
Helen Slater and Dean Cain, who each portrayed Supergirl and Superman, also play husband and wife, and the adoptive parents to Kara (Supergirl )on the Supergirl TV show.
In the years since its premiere, both Tara Strong and Grey Griffin had disowned and expressed strong dislike towards Dean Cain for their opposing political views. Strong in particular has Cain blocked on social media, Cain thought they were friends.
