TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Joel Schumacher and David Kajganich had a falling out over all the changes Schumacher wanted in the script (not unlike what happened between Schumacher and Andrew Kevin Walker on 8MM (1999)). The director won and re-wrote parts of the script himself.

Henry Cavill replaced Jesse Metcalfe.

Micheal Fassbender was excited to work with Joel Schumacher, whom he cites as one of his favorite directors.

Wentworth Miller plays an unnamed german soldier. He also starred in Prison Break opposite Dominic Purcell.

The production was filmed on locations in Romania (Bucharest and MediaPro Studios).

Popular Dialogues

"[first lines] Narrator: In the early '30s, Adolf Hitler and his inner circle became obsessed with the occult, believing that the black arts were key to their plan for world domination. Nazi agents travelled the globe in search of ancient Nordic relics known as rune stones. They believed if they harnessed the power of these stones, nothing could stop the march of the Master Race. The symbols inscribed in these stones were said to describe the path... to immortality."

"Richard Wirth: Those who came before rule the blood. And when you rule the blood, death is no longer the end."
