Baloch has no ties to the former monarchy other than the sandy dunes that serve as its backdrop. A brief introduction to the Battle of Panipat quickly turns into a jumble of loud monologues given emotionlessly. The Marathas who have been taken are brutalised and treated with contempt by their captors. The warriors' resolve to retaliate for their freedom holds strong in the face of all atrocities. Although Pravin Tarde does what is anticipated and carries the movie on his shoulders, this isn't one of his stronger performances. With a few strategically placed hero shots, Tarde does have his moment in the spotlight. As Ratna, Suryaji's wife, Smita Gondkar performs a serviceable performance. The film leans a little bit too heavily on green-screen to depict the vast location. Both the dialogue and delivery are at best poor. The experience is unappealing due to this, and the sound design is poorly executed.
