The band's 3rd album titled This is war because of EMI. Most of the songs from this period inspired Leto to perform Closer To The Edge with a lyric containing "birth of song death of a dream", because the record label was trying to destroy them in every facet of their art and take their dream away.

Oringally shot in early 2008 but released In 2012 because of the lawsuit with EMI Records.
