  • Customers can avail of handset repairs at the Mobile Service Camps and get discounts of up to 50 percent on spare parts.
  • The campaign has already kicked off (July 1st) and will be available until July 31st.
  • As said, customers can get free services such as health checkups of their handsets and get their phones updated to the latest firmware.
  • For those unaware, Xiaomi forayed into the Indian smartphone market in 2014 with the launch of the Mi 3 handset.
  • Shortly later, the brand expanded its product portfolio with smart TVs, power banks, tablets, and wearables.

Furthermore, in association with Yuvraj Singh Foundation (YouWeCan), Xiaomi announced the ‘Swasth Mahila Swasth Bharat’ campaign as part of its 10th anniversary celebrations. Through this, the brand will organise cancer screenings in across 15 Indian states for over 1,50,000 women in the next 12 months.

Xiaomi has come a long way since it entered the Indian market. It steadily expanded the market and was able to crack the budget and mid-range market in the country. The brand has become the first choice among the masses in the under Rs 20,000 price segment. In line with the ‘Make in India’ initiative by the government of India, the company has started the production of its products locally as well.

Xiaomi has started seven factories in the country in the subsequent years and these are claimed to have an operational capacity of three smartphones per second. Expanding beyond that, in December 2023, Xiaomi even started a pilot to export smartphones to other nations like Nepal and Bangladesh.
