Xiaomi 14T Pro global launch nears as device spotted on NBTC; camera details leaked

Xiaomi 14T Pro launch might be nearing as the phone has been making regular appearances online. It was recently spotted on the IMEI database and now the smartphone has received Thailand’s NBTC certification. The Xiaomi 14T Pro has also appeared on the Camera FV Database. This reveals some camera details of the upcoming phone. 

Xiaomi 14T Pro camera details (expected)

  • The Xiaomi 14T Pro was spotted by MSP in the Camera FV-5 database suggesting it will house a 50MP primary camera. This is based on data that the primary camera will have an f/1.6 aperture, 12.6MP pixel binning, and OIS.
  • The upcoming Xiaomi phone will also feature a selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture and 8.1MP pixel binning. 
  • In comparison, the Xiaomi 13T Pro has a 50MP+50MP+12MP triple camera setup on the back and a 20MP camera on the front.
  • Like its predecessor, the Xiaomi 14T Pro will most likely come with Leica lenses.

The NBTC certification confirms the Xiaomi 14T Pro moniker with the model number 2407FPN8EG. It also suggests an imminent launch in Thailand, which would mean a global debut soon. Like the previous models, the Xiaomi 14T Pro is also expected to launch as a rebrand of another phone for the global market. It’s rumoured that the Xiaomi 14T Pro will be the global version of the Redmi K70 Ultra, which is also yet to launch. 

Xiaomi 14T Pro: what to expect

Based on this speculation and the leaked specifications of the Redmi K70 Ultra, here’s what to expect from the Xiaomi 14T Pro. It could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset. The smartphone is also expected to pack a 5,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.

The Xiaomi 14T Pro might also feature a 50MP Light Hunter 800 primary sensor, and 8MP and 2MP auxiliary cameras paired with Xiaomi’s AI imaging technology. It could also feature a metal middle frame and a glass back along with IP68 water and dust resistance.
