Xiaomi 14 is set to launch in India on March 7th. This comes just days after the phone debuted globally at MWC 2024. Up until now, the company only mentioned the arrival of Xiaomi 14 but the latest teaser image mentions the ‘Xiaomi 14 series’. This could be an indication that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra could be making its way as well.

Is Xiaomi 14 Ultra launching in India?

Xiaomi 14 is set to launch in India on March 7th, which is just two days away from now.
The company so far only confirmed that the vanilla Xiaomi 14 will be debuting in the country.

A recent teaser image says ‘Xiaomi 14 series’, which could mean the Xiaomi 14 Ultra or a brand new phone might be announced as well.
These phones will come with Leica cameras.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra ships with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, a 6.73-inch QHD+ LTPO OLED display, and a 5,300mAh battery with 90W wired charging.

Xiaomi 15 series might come with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor

According to a tipster on Weibo, Xiaomi is currently testing an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for the Xiaomi 15 lineup. The phones from Xiaomi for a while now featured an in-display fingerprint sensor but if the new leak turns out to be true will be a significant upgrade.

Apart from the Xiaomi 15 series, the tipster says the OnePlus 13 might also feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. This means Xiaomi and Vivo might soon join Samsung, Vivo and other flagships using this tech already. This tech is claimed to make unlocking faster and more accurate.

Besides the fingerprint sensor, the Xiaomi 15 could use a full-flat screen, while the Ultra model might feature a curved glass similar to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Since the Xiaomi 15 series is still in the early days of development and the launch is not due until later this year, we should know more details in the days to come.
