Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to see the daylight on February 22nd in China. A senior representative of the company has hinted at the impending launch of the device. Meanwhile, the phone's design has leaked through a hands-on image and the key Xiaomi 14 Ultra specs have also been tipped.
While the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro will launch globally on February 25th, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra could launch in the home market a few days earlier on February 22nd. This is as per Gizmochina, who has seen certain tech bloggers claiming this date on Weibo. We also skimmed through the Chinese microblogging site but couldn't find a reference to this date.
The phone's impending arrival has been teased by Lu Weibing, who appears to be heading the Xiaomi 14 Ultra division. He posted on Weibo that he is prepping for the Xiaomi 14 Ultra launch event.
The phone's design has also leaked on Weibo. Here, have a look:
The oft-accurate tipster DigitalChatStation has posted an image of a person holding 4 flagship phones, one of which appears to be the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Well, we can barely see the actual design as it's blurred.
Still, if you narrow your eyes, you can see the phone's round camera island, reminiscent of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The colour seems off-white. We cannot discern the material or any other details about the phone's design.
However, from another leak of the device's alleged prototype, we learned the camera bump could be bigger compared to its precursor. Also, it could have Leica Leica-branded cameras and a periscope lens.
