Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its first-ever Civi series device in India this week, the Xiaomi 14 Civi. Ahead of this official release, the company has officially revealed the Xiaomi 14 Civi’s hardware specifications, design, colour options, and more. Here’s a quick rundown of everything we know about the Xiaomi 14 Civi so far.

Xiaomi 14 Civi launch date in India, availability

The company has officially set the launch date and time to launch the Xiaomi 14 Civi in India. The device will debut on June 12th at 12 noon in India, making it the first Civi series phone from Xiaomi to make it to the Indian shores.

Moreover, the company also confirmed that the Xiaomi 14 Civi will be available for purchase via Flipkart, the Xiaomi official website, and offline stores. It will be available in three shades: Cruise Blue, Matcha Green, and Shadow Black.

Xiaomi 14 Civi price in India

Rumour mills suggest that the base 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant of the Xiaomi 14 Civi will cost around Rs 43,000. Moreover, there will likely be a 12GB RAM and 512GB storage option, but the price of that unit is still under wraps. This is significant considering Xiaomi has largely remained absent from this price segment, as the flagship Xiaomi 14 series start at Rs 69,999.

According to a promotional poster spotted outside an offline store, the Xiaomi 14 Civi will retail for around Rs 45,000. It also mentioned an instant bank discount of Rs 3,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 3,000. Besides this, you will also have an option of Xiaomi Easy financing available for EMI with a starting monthly payment of Rs 2,389.

Xiaomi 14 Civi specifications

Display: The Xiaomi 14 Civi will flaunt a quad-curved 1.5K AMOLED panel that will support a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and feature Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The recently launched Xiaomi 14 offers similar display specifications with a 1.5K LTPO OLED panel that supports 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass protection.
Processor: It will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC at the helm. With the Xiaomi 14, you get the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 flagship SoC.
RAM/Storage: It will ship with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. In comparison, the Xiaomi 14 offers up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage option.
Battery and charging: The Xiaomi 14 Civi will pack a 4,700mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. You get a faster 90W charging speed with the Xiaomi 14, but a slightly smaller 4,610mAh battery.
Rear camera: It will feature a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP Leica Summilux primary snapper with 25mm cinematic HDR support, a Leica 50MP 50mm Portrait Telephoto shooter with 2x zoom, and a 12MP Leica 15mm ultrawide lens with a 120-degree field of view. The Xiaomi 14 also has a Leica-branded triple camera setup with a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP telephoto shooter.
Front camera: It will come with a 32MP dual camera setup on the front for selfies and video calls. The Xiaomi 14 only has a single 32MP selfie snapper.
OS: The Xiaomi 14 Civi will boot HyperOS custom skin based on Android out of the box, the same as the Xiaomi 14.
Other features: The phone will feature Dolby Atmos, Stereo speakers, and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, meaning you can use the device in rainy weather.

Xiaomi 14 Civi design

While the design of the Xiaomi 14 Civi will remain the same for every colourway, there will be different materials and elements for each shade. The Match Green option will feature a dual-tone styling with a marble-like finish and vegan leather. With the Shadow Black model, you get a matte black finish. The Cruise Blue variant comes with a dual-tone dark and light blue colour finish.

The device has a triple camera setup with LEICA branding tucked in a circular housing at the top-left corner of the rear. At the front, there is a quad-curve display with slim bezels and a dual camera setup cutout in the top centre.

Xiaomi 14 Civi alternatives

If the Xiaomi 14 Civi retails at around Rs 45,000 in India, it will compete against the Nothing Phone (2), iQOO Neo 9 Pro, and OnePlus 12R available in the same price segment.

The iQOO Neo 9 Pro over a bigger 5,160mAh battery and faster 120W charging speed than the Xiaomi 14 Civi. Moreover, it also offers a 144Hz display compared to Xiaomi 14 Civi’s 120Hz panel.

Like the iQOO Neo 9 Pro, the OnePlus 12R also offer a bigger 5,500mAh battery with a faster 100W charging speed. However, the Xiamoi 14 Civi offers better specifications than the Nothing Phone (2) and the other competitors in every other aspect.
