Highlights
  • The Vivo Y200 Pro is expected to launch in India soon.
  • The upcoming phone has appeared on a number of certification websites.
  • It’s speculated to have specifications similar to those of the V29e.

After launching the Vivo Y200 5G last year, the smartphone brand is now reportedly planning to unveil the Pro variant of the phone but is tight-lipped about it. However, ahead of the official announcement, the Vivo Y200 Pro has appeared on some certification websites, including the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), hinting at an imminent India launch. Here are the expected details of the Vivo Y200 Pro 5G.

Vivo Y200 Pro BIS, Bluetooth SIG certification details

  • A report by GizmoChina mentioned that the Bureau of Indian Standards has cleared a new Vivo smartphone identified by model number V2401.
  • This same model has been spotted in other places as the Vivo Y200 Pro 5G, including in the Google Play Supported Devices list and Bluetooth SIG certification.
  • Meanwhile, last month, details about the Vivo Y200 Pro 5G were found in the Google Play Console database, which included an image and some specs.
The report also states that there’s also a model number associated with it, V2303, which was previously linked to the Vivo V29e. This suggests that the Vivo Y200 Pro 5G might be based on the Vivo V29e model, which was launched in India in August 2023.
