Vivo is gearing up to launch another Y200 series phone, the Vivo Y200 Plus. The series includes a vanilla Y200 and a Y200 Pro model. And now, the Vivo Y200 Plus will join the Y200 family. The series is a successor to the Vivo Y100, launched in February this year. Let’s take a look at what we can expect from the Vivo Y200 Plus.

Folks over at Gizmochina managed to unearth the Vivo Y200 Plus on the IMEI database. It has the V2422 model number. For reference, the Vivo Y200 has a V2307 model number, and the Vivo Y200 Pro has a V2401 model number. While the listing doesn’t reveal anything besides the model number, it suggests that the launch of the Vivo Y200 Plus is imminent.
Vivo Y200 Plus: what to expect
While we don’t have detailed information about the Vivo Y200 Plus’ hardware specifications or design, the moniker suggests it will come with some improvements and enhancements over the Vivo Y200 and previous-gen model.
The Vivo Y200 features a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED panel, Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC, 64MP primary camera, 4,800mAh battery, and 16MP front camera. We can expect some upgrades to the Vivo Y200 in the specifications department with the Vivo Y200 Plus.

Unfortunately, there’s no word about when the Vivo Y200 Plus 5G could debut or its pricing details. However, we can expect Vivo to launch this model at a mid-range price. For reference, the Vivo Y200 retails under Rs 20,000 and the Vivo Y200 Pro costs under Rs 25,000. The Vivo Y200 Plus could sit somewhere between the price range of the Vivo Y200 and Vivo Y200 Pro, if and when it launches in India.
