Vivo Watch 3 global variant spotted on NCC ahead of imminent launch

Highlights
  • Vivo Watch 3 battery size, charging speed and other details are revealed via the NCC website.
  • The watch is already available in China. It launched at a starting price of CNY 1099 (about Rs 12,601.74).
  •  We get to see the watch’s round dial and leather strap on the NCC listing.

Vivo Watch 3 global variant seems to be readying for launch as 91mobiles has spotted it on Taiwan’s NCC certification website. Unlike its appearance on the Singaporean certification site, SDPPI a couple of weeks back, the NCC listing shows the watch’s key specs. Let’s see if the newly revealed details match the specifications of the watch’s Chinese variant, which went official back in November last year.

Vivo Watch 3 global launch nears

Vivo Watch 3 has appeared on NCC with model number V2405, the same model number found on the SDPPI listing.

The model in testing is in black colour. The Chinese model is available in Black, Starlight, Bright Moon, and Moonlight White.

Not just the watch’s design, we also see its 5W charger. It has a puck-shaped charging surface and a USB-A plug on the other end.

The listed battery size is 485mAh. Since the Chinese variant shipped with a 505mAh cell, we suppose the 485mAh would be rated capacity and the market capacity could be 505mAh. Or perhaps the global variant has a smaller battery size.

The listing also reveals the watch’s support for Bluetooth and NFC.

That’s all we gather from this sighting. Let’s refer to the Chinese edition’s specs now:

Vivo Watch 3 specifications (China)

  • Display: The watch has a 1.43-inch round AMOLED screen with 466×466 pixel resolution and AOD support.
  • Design: The Vivo Watch 3 looks similar to the Pixel Watch 2. That includes the circular dial, overflowing display, and even some of its strap choices. In the above listing, we can see the leather strap. The watch is 5ATM water resistant too. Below the watch, there are optical sensors.
  • Health tracking: The health features include heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring, over 100 sports modes, a professional coach option, and courses.
  • Miscellaneous: Vivo has also added a speaker, microphone for voice calls, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, eSIM, Bluetooth 5.2, and the aforementioned 505mAh battery.

In China, the Vivo Watch 3 Bluetooth variant started at CNY 1099 (about Rs 12,601.74) and its cellular model started at CNY 1299 (around Rs 14,895.05).  Let’s see how much it launches in the global markets.
