Besides the Vivo V40e, another Vivo V40 series member might be in the works. The Vivo V40 with model number V2348 visited the Indian BIS database, with approval granted on June 21st, 2024. The Vivo V40 and V40 Lite recently made their debut in the global market, and it seems like the Vivo V40 will now make its way to the Indian shores.

Vivo V40 specifications (expected)

While the BIS listing didn’t reveal any hardware specifications we expect the Indian version of the Vivo V40 will carry the same specifications as its global counterpart.

To recall, the global model of the Vivo V40 features a 6.78-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED panel and draws power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC paired with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, expandable via a microSD card. It packs a dual rear camera setup: a 50MP primary camera with OIS and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. At the front, there is a 50MP snapper for selfies and video calls.

Expect more details about the Vivo V40 lineup to surface online in the coming days.
