Vivo T3 Lite vs Moto G34: design

The Moto G34 5G sports a vegan leather rear panel with the classic Moto logo. The textured finish on the back should feel great in hand. It houses a square module in the upper-left corner with two cameras and an LED flash.

On the other hand, the Vivo T3 Lite has a glossy appearance and the brand logo at the bottom left corner of the back. Its rear panel features a rectangular camera island with two camera sensors encircled by rings and an LED flash.

Vivo T3 Lite

Vivo T3 Lite vs Moto G34: display

Both phones come with a similar display panel with the same resolution. However, the Moto G34 offers a higher refresh rate of 120Hz compared to the 90Hz of the Vivo T3 Lite. The Moto G34 will provide smoother animations and a more responsive feel than the Vivo T3 Lite while gaming or scrolling in general. Nevertheless, both devices won’t do well in sunny conditions since their standard nits brightness level is average.

Vivo T3 Lite vs Moto G34: performance

While we haven’t tested the performance of the Vivo T3 Lite, we reviewed the Realme C65 5G, which also packs a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC at the helm, the same chipset that powers the Vivo T3 Lite. In our testing, the SoC scored 433,932 points on AnTuTu, 789 points on the single-core test, and 1,981 points on the multi-core test on Geekbench.

On the other hand, the Moto G34 scored 433,104 points on AnTuTu, 910 points on the single-core test, and 2,040 points on the multi-core test on Geekbench. The difference between the performance of both devices is negligible, and you likely won’t notice any difference in real-world scenarios.

However, the Moto G34 offers options of up to 8GB RAM, while the Vivo T3 Lite’s top model only offers 6GB RAM. The 2GB extra RAM boost can be noticeable when you run heavy apps on the devices. So, the Moto G34 might be a better pick if you plan to get the 8GB RAM variant and use heavy apps.

Vivo T3 Lite vs Moto G34: cameras

Both devices feature a 50MP primary camera, indicating similar potential for high-resolution photography. The Vivo T3 Lite has a 2MP depth sensor, which provides a background blur (bokeh effect). The Moto G34, on the other hand, includes a 2MP macro sensor designed for capturing close-up shots of small subjects.

The Moto G34 has a significant advantage in the front camera department, offering a 16MP sensor compared to the 8MP sensor on the Vivo T3 Lite. Thus, the Moto G34 is the better option among the two in the camera department. Check out our detailed review of the Moto G34 here to learn more about its camera performance.

Vivo T3 Lite vs Moto G34: battery and charging

Both the Vivo T3 Lite and the Moto G34 come equipped with a 5,000mAh battery. Thus, both devices will offer excellent battery backup, ensuring long usage periods. However, the Moto G34 has a slight edge in charging speed, supporting 18W charging compared to the 15W charging on the Vivo T3 Lite, meaning the Moto G34 can charge a bit faster.

Vivo T3 Lite vs Moto G34: software

Both phones boot on Android 14-based custom OS out of the box. The Vivo T3 Lite runs on Funtouch 14, which offers customisation options and additional features. However, it comes with a few pre-installed apps, which you can remove if they aren’t needed.

Moto G34 UI

On the other hand, the Moto G34 runs on MyUX, which delivers very close to the pure Android experience. Moreover, it comes with no bloatware besides some essential Moto apps pre-installed, such as Moto Secure, Moto Unplugged, and Moto Connect.

However, the Vivo promises two major OS updates and three years of security patches for the T3 Lite compared to just one major OS update for the Moto G34.

Verdict

Choosing between the Vivo T3 Lite and the Moto G34 comes down to your specific preferences and needs. The Moto G34 is ideal for users seeking a better camera, smoother display, faster charging speed, and cleaner software experience. On the other hand, the Vivo T3 Lite is a better choice if you want longer software support and security patches.

Regardless of whichever device you pick among the two, expect a decent performance from them in every aspect. However, the Moto G34 has an edge over the Vivo T3 Lite and offers more value for the asking price.
