Developer Naughty Dog has shared a brand-new trailer for the upcoming The Last of Us Part 1 PC version. The developer had previously revealed system requirements and some PC features for the game as well. The Last of Us Part 1 is an iconic PlayStation game, which now has an even larger fanbase thanks to the great TV show adaptation. PC version of The Last of Us Part 1 will take advantage of high-end specs to deliver a great gameplay experience, while also running well on mid-tier machines.

The Last of Us Part 1 PC version will support both Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR 2. Both of these upscaling technologies will help you get better visuals and increased frame rate from your GPU. The game will also support unlocked frame rates on PC. Besides these, the PC version gets permadeath and speedrun modes from the console version. As the name suggests, the permadeath mode will end your entire progress and make you restart the game from the beginning if you die. In the console version, the permadeath mode can be customized to either full game reset or the beginning of a chapter. Customizing to respawn at the beginning of a chapter is a much more forgiving option. Meanwhile, the speedrun mode tests how quickly you can finish the game.

The Last of Us Part 1 PC system requirements are quite similar to previous PlayStation ports such as Returnal and Marvel’s Spider-Man. While playing the game at 1080p 60 FPS won’t be too demanding for your system, you would require a high-end GPU and a lot of RAM to play it at ultra settings. Apart from these, The Last of Us Part 1 supports various aspect ratios for monitors as well as haptic feedback and adaptive triggers on DualSense controller.
