Apple iPhones and other devices may soon become scratch-resistant, thanks to the new Spatial Composites.

Future Apple iPhones could come with scratch and abrasion resistance going by the patent filed by the Cupertino giant. Apple has been granted a new patent for 'Spatial Composites' material by the US Patent and Trademark Office, as spotted by Patently Apple. As with every electronic gadget, Apple iPhones, iPads, Watches, and Macs are prone to scratches and users have to rely on protective cases. To this end, Apple now appears to be working on a scratch-resistant back panel and this will allow Apple users to use the device without any bulky cases.
