Samsung typically unveils its standard Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip models every year, but this year, there could be some new additions to the foldable lineup. However, a new tip indicates the existence of the Galaxy Z Fold SE and also provides insights into the chipsets and storage details of the FE models.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold FE, Galaxy Z Flip FE chipset, storage details

In a now-deleted post, tipster Kro via X (formerly Twitter) shared some screenshots mentioning that Samsung is likely developing more affordable versions of its foldable devices under the Fan Edition label.

The screenshot reveals that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold FE is expected to measure 155.1 x 67.1 x 14.2 mm when folded, while the Z Flip FE is predicted to measure 165.2 x 71.9 x 6.9 mm when unfolded.

The Galaxy Z Flip FE is rumoured to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. At the same time, the Galaxy Z Fold FE may use a combination of Qualcomm Snapdragon and Exynos chips depending on the market, with the possibility of featuring the Exynos 2300 or the Exynos 2200.

The RAM options for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold FE could include 12GB and 16GB, while the Galaxy Z Flip FE might have a single 8GB version. Both models could offer storage options of 256GB and 512GB.

Another tipster named Anthony suggests that both Fan Editions of Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip could include Exynos models, potentially the Exynos 2200.

However, it’s essential to approach these rumours with a pinch of salt due to the uncertainty surrounding Samsung’s upcoming foldables and the conflicting information available.

Samsung is expected to host its Galaxy Unpacked event in the middle of July, where it will unveil its standard foldable phones. Additionally, the company may introduce various other products, such as the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3, Galaxy Watch 7 series, Galaxy Tab S10 series, Galaxy XR headset, and the Galaxy Ring. Meanwhile, it is not confirmed, but the FE foldable models might be announced later this year.
