The Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch 7 are expected to launch as Samsung’s latest wearables at the Unpacked event. There have been several leaks already on the new smartwatches and now the full specs sheet of the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch 7 has leaked online. This gives us all the details about the new Samsung smartwatches.
Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Watch 7 specs leaked
This leak comes from the French publication Dealabs which has listed out the complete specs sheet of the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch 7. Before we get into the details, let’s talk about Samsung’s new wearables. The Galaxy Watch Ultra is a new offering and a premium one with leaked images showing a circular dial and a square case design. The Galaxy Watch 7 will succeed last year’s Galaxy Watch 6 series. Samsung is also expected to reveal the price of the Galaxy Watch FE that it unveiled last month.
Galaxy Watch Ultra
The Galaxy Watch Ultra will come in a single 47mm size, featuring a titanium case, sapphire glass on the front, and a 3D glass dial. It will feature a 1.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 327 ppi. The smartwatch will be powered by the Exynos W1000 processor with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. It will pack a 590mAh battery with wireless fast charging support.
On the software front, the Galaxy Watch Ultra will run Wear OS layered with One UI Watch 6.0 on top. It will have IP6X dust protection, a 10 ATM waterproof rating, and an IP68 rating as well. The smartwatch is also US military-certified for durability. The Galaxy Watch Ultra comes with Bluetooth + 4G connectivity.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra will be available in Titanium Silver with a Black strap and Titanium White with a White strap. There’s a Titanium Grey with an Orange strap that is said to sell only in Europe. It’s tipped to cost 699 Euros, which translates to Rs 62,700.
Galaxy Watch 7
The Galaxy Watch 7 will come in 40mm and 44m sizes. It will feature an aluminum armor case instead of titanium but the rest of the materials remain the same. The 40mm has a 1.3-inch display, while the 44mm has a 1.5-inch display. It has the same chipset and storage capacity as the Ultra.
The 40mm Galaxy Watch 7 will pack a 300mAh battery, while the 44mm gets a 425mAh cell. The rest of the features are the same as the Ultra model. In terms of colours, the Galaxy Watch 7 40mm Bluetooth version will come in Green and Cream, and it might cost 319 Euros. The 44m will be available in Green and Silver and cost 349 Euros. The Bluetooth + 4G version 40mm will come in Green and Cream and cost 369 Euros, and the 44m in Green and Silver with a price tag of 399 Euros.
