Samsung Galaxy Watch FE design leaked

According to renders of the Galaxy Watch FE, posted by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE smartwatch will come with a circular display featuring an aluminum case. The right edge of the upcoming Galaxy Watch FE will have buttons for interaction and navigation. 

Looks like the strap is made of a flexible material and has a buckle for adjusting the fit, with interchangeable straps. The Galaxy Watch FE will likely be available in shades of Black, Blue, and Pink colours. It is worth noting that this design is similar to what we have seen in the Galaxy smartwatches.

Samsung Galaxy Watch FE features tipped

  • Display: The Galaxy Watch FE is tipped to be available in 40mm size and will feature a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED display, similar to the display size of the Google Pixel Watch.
  • Chipset: Like the Galaxy Watch 4, the Galaxy Watch FE is tipped to be equipped with the Exynos W920 Dual Core chipset. While the OnePlus Watch 2 has the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset, the Google Pixel Watch is powered by the Exynos 9110 SoC. 
  • RAM and storage: The upcoming affordable smartwatch might offer 1.5GB RAM and 16GB storage.
  • Sensors: Regarding sensors, the Galaxy Watch FE might feature an electrical cardiac sensor, heart rate (optical) sensor, and Accelerometer, among others.
  • Battery: The smartwatch is tipped to pack a 247mAh battery like the Galaxy Watch 4 compared to 500mAh on the OnePlus Watch 2. The tipster says the watch will offer up to 30 hours of battery life with magnetic wireless charging.
  • Compatibility: The upcoming Galaxy Watch FE is tipped to be compatible with Android phones with Android 11 OS or higher OS.
  • IP rating: The smartwatch might be equipped with the 5ATM/IP68 rating for up to 50 meters of water resistance and certified with MIL-STD-810H military standards, which we have seen on the OnePlus Watch 2.
  • Connectivity options: It might include Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n 2.4 GHz + 5 GHz, microphone, speaker, and more.
