Now, Samsung has finally unveiled the Galaxy Watch FE, a new entry-level smartwatch that offers many of the advanced features of the Galaxy Watch series at a more reasonable price, similar to its FE line of Galaxy smartphones. Samsung Galaxy Watch FE price, availability

The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE measures 39.3 x 40.4 x 9.8mm and weighs 26.6g. It comes in an aluminium case available in three shades: Black, Pink Gold, and Silver. Samsung says that the Galaxy Watch FE will be available globally this summer.

The Indian pricing detail of the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE is still a mystery. According to reports, the US variant of the Watch FE will retail for around USD 215 (Approx. Rs 18,000). We expect the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE to cost under Rs 20,000 in India as well.

Display: The Galaxy Watch FE flaunts a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED panel with 396 x 396 resolution and Always on Display support. It comes in a 40mm size, similar to the Google Pixel Watch.
Chipset: It is anticipated to feature the Exynos W920 Dual Core chipset like the Galaxy Watch 4. In comparison, the original Pixel Watch packed the Exynos 9110 SoC.
RAM/storage: It ships with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB storage. In comparison, the first-gen Pixel Watch only offered 1GB RAM and 8GB storage.
Sensors: The Galaxy Watch FE features a BioActive sensor for heart rate and electrical cardiac monitoring, an accelerometer, a barometer, a gyro sensor, a geomagnetic sensor, and a light sensor.
Battery: The Galaxy Watch FE packs a 247mAh battery compared to a larger 294mAh battery on the original Pixel Watch. Moreover, the Watch FE supports magnetic wireless charging.
IP rating: The FE variant features a 5ATM and an IP68 rating for up to 50 meters of water resistance and is certified with MIL-STD-810H military standards.
Connectivity: It supports Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, and LTE, and is compatible with Android 11 or higher.
OS: It runs on Wear OS powered by Samsung with One UI 5 Watch skin out of the box.
