Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 launch date should be out very soon as the rumoured debut is just around the corner. This time Samsung is also expected to launch a ‘Galaxy Watch Ultra’, a premium model in the series. The Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra have been spotted on the 3C certification site before the rumoured July Unpacked event. This reveals the possible charging speed for both smartwatches.
Galaxy Watch 7, Watch Ultra charging speed
- The Galaxy Watch 7 (SM-L315) and Galaxy Watch Ultra (SM-L705) were spotted on China’s 3C certification site. This listing confirms the devices’ arrival in China and suggests an imminent launch.
- It also reveals the charger listed here has the model number EP-T1510, which supports 10W charging. This suggests that the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra might come with 10W charging.
- If true then there’s no upgrade in the charging wattage as the Galaxy Watch 6 series also has the same capacity. However, the FCC listing of the Galaxy Watch 7 revealed 15W charging so it’s not confirmed yet.
Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra, Galaxy Watch 7: what we know so far
The Galaxy Watch Ultra is a new entrant in the lineup and it will be a premium model. We had confirmed its moniker just last week through Samsung’s official website. The Galaxy Watch Ultra is said to launch in a single 47mm size and it could pack a 590mAh battery. It is tipped to feature a Titanium (Grade 4) chassis and sapphire crystal glass display with 300 nits peak brightness.
Rumours also suggest 10ATM + IP68 dust and water resistance on the Watch Ultra for durability. We could get a new Quick Button for shortcuts, while the design will be unique with a circular dial and square case.
The Galaxy Watch 7 will succeed last year’s Galaxy Watch 6. It’s tipped to come in Marbal Gray, Cream white, and Forest Green colours. The smartwatch might be powered by a 3nm Exynos chip that should offer 20 percent more power than the Galaxy Watch 6. Samsung is also rumoured to increase the base storage to 32GB.
Samsung’s summer Unpacked event is rumoured to take place on July 10th in Paris where we’lls see a host of new devices.
