The Galaxy S25 Ultra might not look like the previous generation models according to a new tip. After Samsung axed the beloved Note series, it incorporated the boxy design with sharp edges into the Galaxy S22 Ultra. But this could change with the Galaxy S25 Ultra as it’s rumoured to feature rounded edges. The Galaxy S25 Ultra is also claimed to be thinnest ‘Ultra’ model yet.
Galaxy S25 Ultra design changes expected
- The Galaxy S25 Ultra will go through a design change and not have sharp edges like the Galaxy S24 Ultra. This was shared by tipster Ice Universe who said the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be “really rounded”.
- The tipster seems to be very confident saying that they can confirm a 100 percent about this design change. The S Pen will continue to stay with the Galaxy S25 Ultra as well.
- This would mean a major design change for the Galaxy S25 Ultra as the Ultra model looks quite distinct from its smaller siblings.
- It might also mean the return of a familiar design like the Galaxy S21 Ultra with its rounded edges. It’s interesting to see how Samsung plans to change the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s design and we expect the brand to do something new with the old.
- The Galaxy S25 Ultra is also tipped to have a body thickness of 8.4mm, which is the thinnest yet among the other Ultra models.

Much has been revealed about the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s specifications and here’s what we know so far. The Galaxy S25 Ultra could feature a 6.9-inch AMOLED 2x display with 3000 nits of peak brightness. It will most likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. The Galaxy S25 Ultra’s cameras could be upgraded to a 50MP ultra-wide lens, a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom accompanied by the same 200MP main camera.
Samsung might launch the Galaxy S25 Ultra in several variants with 12GB and 16GB RAM variants and 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB of internal storage. It’s also tipped to pack a battery between 5,000mAh and 5,500mAh with 65W wired fast charging, 25W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging features. This is an upgrade over the 45W wired and 15W wireless charging support on the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
