However, rumours and speculations about its camera setup keep appearing frequently, suggesting that the upcoming flagship might come with more powerful camera sensors than its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 Ultra. A recent tip hinted that the Galaxy S25 Ultra would have massive camera upgrades. Now, another tipster has shed more light on the expected upgrade.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra camera details
- Tipster Sperandio4Tech on X (formerly Twitter) posted that the yet-to-be-launched Galaxy S25 Ultra could see two significant sensor upgrades.
- First, the ultrawide sensor might be updated to a new version of the 1/2.76-inch JN1 sensor, replacing the current 1/2.55-inch sensor in the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
- This change would make the new sensor slightly smaller. Additionally, the resolution of this sensor could increase from 12MP to 50MP.
- Secondly, as per the tipster, the 3x telephoto lens might also be upgraded.
- The new sensor for this lens could be a 1/3-inch Isocell sensor, slightly larger compared to the 1/3.52-inch sensor used in the predecessor’s 3x telephoto lens.
