Samsung Galaxy S25 series will be the next flagship offering from the brand.
Besides the Galaxy S25, we have also spotted the Galaxy A16's battery cell on the same BIS certification. This reveals the model numbers EB-BA166ASE and EB-BA166ASY. The handset will arrive as a successor to the Galaxy A15, which is readily available in the country. As said, the certification fails to reveal the battery capacities of the phones at the moment.
Samsung Galaxy S25 will reportedly come with a variant that will be powered by a new MediaTek Dimensity chipset. This could be the MediaTek Dimensity 9400, which might launch towards the end of this year. This could be in addition to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset and an in-house Exynos chipset. The Galaxy S25 Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 variant will feature "GPU interpolation technology". This will upscale the graphics to make the visuals clearer and sharper.
The MediaTek Dimensity 9400 is rumoured to be based on TSMC's second-gen 3nm N3E manufacturing process. The phone is rumoured to come with more Galaxy AI features powered by the upcoming Gemini Nano 2 Large Language Model (LLM). Rumours also suggest the standard Galaxy S25 will feature a new Sony camera sensor. No other details of the phone are revealed at the moment but we should learn more details shortly.
