Samsung Galaxy S25: what we know so far

Samsung Galaxy S25 will arrive next year as a successor to the Galaxy S24 from earlier this year. The successor is expected to bring some notable improvements. Firstly, there are reports about a variant powered by the MediaTek Dimensity chipset, most probably the Dimensity 9400 SoC. This might be in addition to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 variant.

The Snapdragon variant is expected to bring some top-end features like “GPU interpolation technology”. This is tipped to upscale the graphics in games to make the visuals clearer and sharper. Samsung is expected to bring in new Galaxy AI features, which will be powered by the Google Gemini Nano 2 Large Language Model (LLM). We’ve also heard about the Galaxy S25 getting a new Sony camera sensor.

Samsung Galaxy S25 series is expected to debut around January 2025 much like the Galaxy S24 this year. India’s availability of phones will happen shortly within a week after the announcement.
