Samsung Galaxy S24+ with deca-core Exynos 2400 spotted on Geekbench

The Galaxy S24 series is slated to be Samsung’s next flagship offering. The Galaxy S24 will most likely launch early next year but we’re already coming across leaks and sightings of the Samsung flagships. The Galaxy S24+, which will be the mid-tier model, has now been spotted on Geekbench. This is the global version running an Exynos chipset. 

Samsung Galaxy S24+ Geekbench score

  • We’ve spotted a Samsung phone with the model number SM-S926B on the benchmarking website, Geekbench.
  • This model number is associated with the Galaxy S24+ according to an IMEI database listing. 
  • On Geekbench, the Galaxy S24+ is running a deca-core (10 cores) Exynos chipset, which is most likely the Exynos 2400 that was unveiled last week. Samsung says the Exynos 2400 offers a 1.7x increase in CPU performance and a 14.7x boost in AI performance compared to the Exynos 2200 chipset.
  • The Geekbench listing also reveals 8GB of RAM and Android 14 for this Galaxy S24+ unit. 
  • In terms of performance, the smartphone has 2,067 points in the single-core test, and 6,520 points in the multi-core test.

Samsung Galaxy S24+ specifications (expected)

  • Display: Samsung Galaxy S24+ is expected to feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
  • Processor: It could be powered by the Exynos 2400 chipset or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 that’s launching later this month.
  • RAM and storage: The Galaxy S24+ could launch with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.
  • Cameras: There aren’t much details out on the camera bit but rumours suggest we could see 200MP sensors on the Galaxy S24 series.
  • Battery, charging: It’s speculated that the Galaxy S24+ will pack either a 4,900mAh or a 5,000mAh battery. It was also rumoured that Samsung will finally increase the fast charging speed from 45W to 65W for the Galaxy S24+ and the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
  • Software: The Galaxy S24+ will most likely run Android 14 with One UI layered on top. 

Joining the Galaxy S24+ would be the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Ultra. It’s still too early for Samsung to start sharing teasers on the Galaxy S24 launch but we’re expecting a global debut in January 2024.
