91mobiles exclusively brings live images of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Buds 3, courtesy of industry sources. This will arrive as the successor to the Galaxy Buds 2 from last year and should bring some notable improvements. Samsung is gearing up for its next major ‘Galaxy Unpacked’ event, which is rumoured to happen on July 10th. The new Galaxy Buds 3 will be one of the products to be unveiled on the stage alongside the next foldables, wearables and more.

- It looks like the stock of the earbuds is reaching stores much before the official launch.
- The front portion of the box package reveals the design of the earbuds and carry case. This suggests the earbuds are getting a major makeover.
- The Galaxy Buds 3 now have a stem design compared to the in-ear style look of the Galaxy Buds 2. This should help with better fit in ears.
- The design matches with the small icon, which was spotted within the Samsung Members app.
- The box package also confirms the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will have AKG sound tuning and we also see AKG branding on the back side of the earbuds as well.
- The charging/carry case of the earbuds is now slightly wider to fit in the earbuds. We also see LED indicators for charging status and a type-C port for charging.
The back side of the box package has some features of the Galaxy Buds 3 highlighted. This confirms the earbuds can last up to 6 hours on a single charge. It isn’t clear whether this is with ANC on or off (assuming the Buds 3 will have ANC support since the Buds 2 came with the feature). In comparison, the Buds 2 offers 5 hours with ANC enabled and 7.5 hours with ANC disabled.
There will also be fast-charging support, where a 10-minute quick charge can offer 1 hour of playtime. This seems like a downgrade considering the Buds 2 offered 1 hour playback with just 5 minutes of charging. The Galaxy Buds 3 will offer a sweat and water resistance rating and adjustable secure-fit ear hooks. There will be the ability to control music and calls. Other hardware details of the phone are under wraps at the moment.
The Samsun Galaxy Buds 3 received the BIS certification with the model number SM-R530. However, no hardware specifications are revealed via the listing. The earbuds are expected to come with Adaptive EQ and an IP57 rating. The Buds 3 are tipped to arrive with a single-driver audio setup.
