Samsung Galaxy Buds 3, Galaxy Buds 3 Pro features (expected)

Recently, a report stated that the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will flaunt ANC and Adaptive EQ, an IP57 rating, and more. Additionally, another report hinted at the Pro variant’s design details.

The report also mentioned that the Galaxy Buds 3 are expected to have up to 6 hours of battery life and up to 5 hours with ANC, compared to 7.5 hours of battery life and 5 hours of battery with ANC off on the Galaxy Buds 2.

On the other hand, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro might offer up to 7 hours of battery life and 6 hours with ANC on. Meanwhile, the predecessor offers up to 8 hours of battery life and 5 hours of playback with ANC.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 are expected to come with a single-driver audio setup. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro might feature a dual-driver setup. In comparison, both the Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro have two-way drivers.

These earbuds will likely come with an IP57 dust and water resistance rating, which is an upgrade over the IPX2 rating and IPX7 rating on the predecessors, Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.

It is also speculated that the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will feature ‘Blade Lights’. It is currently unclear what the ‘Blade Lights’ are, but they could be related to LED lights. Additionally, both earbuds might include the 360 Audio (Spatial Audio), SmartThings Find, and Bluetooth v5.4 connectivity, among other features.

Additionally, a recent report stated that the Pro variant might feature a different design compared to the predecessor. An alleged leaked image (below) of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro shows a stem design like the AirPods Pro, and the top part looks smaller.

These details about the Samsung earbuds are based on rumours and speculations. However, Samsung is expected to unveil these earbuds alongside the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and other products in July at the Galaxy Unpacked event. Stay tuned for more updates regarding these upcoming products.
