The Samsung Galaxy A06 might launch soon as the successor of the Galaxy A05.
The phone has appeared on BIS and FCC sites with model number SM-A065F/DS.
The Galaxy A06 might include MediaTek Helio G85 SoC and a 5,000mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy A05 was launched in India in November 2023. Now, the company is planning to introduce the successor, the Samsung Galaxy A06, in several markets, which likely include India as well. While Samsung is yet to reveal details about the Galaxy A06, the upcoming phone has appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification sites, which hints at an imminent launch.
Notably, Samsung has yet to reveal the features of the the Galaxy A06. However, it recently appeared on the Geekbench website, suggesting that it will be equipped with the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, which we have already seen on the Galaxy A05. Furthermore, the Galaxy A06 will likely pack at least 6GB RAM and will operate on Android 14.
To recall, the Galaxy A05 boasts a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD display with a waterdrop notch, the MediaTek G85 processor and up to 6GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage. It packs a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. On the front, it houses an 8MP selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W wired charging.
