Samsung Galaxy A05s price in India, sale details

The Samsung Galaxy A05s is priced at Rs 14,999. The smartphone can be purchased from Samsung’s online store, and retail stores across the country.
There’s an instant discount of Rs 1,000 that you can get with SBI Bank credit card EMI transactions.
In terms of colour options, there are three options to choose from — Light Green, Light Violet, and Black.

Samsung Galaxy A05s specifications (expected)

Display: The Galaxy A05s features a 6.7-inch FHD+ LCD display with a notch on top.
Processor: Under the hood of the phone runs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor paired with Adreno 610 GPU.
RAM and storage: It comes with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM along with 6GB of virtual RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. There’s a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 1TB.
Cameras: With the Galaxy A05s you get a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth lens. For selfies, you get a 13MP front camera.
Battery, charging: The smartphone packs a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
Software: On the software front, the Galaxy A05s runs One UI 5.1 Core based on Android 13. The smartphone will be upgradable to Android 14 and Android 15, and get four years of security updates.
Other features: With the Galaxy A05s, you get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, face unlock, a 3.5mm audio jack, and Dolby Atmos audio.

Samsung Galaxy A05s and Galaxy A04s: what’s different

The Galaxy A05s succeeds the Galaxy A04s that launched in India last October.
In comparison, you get a FHD+ display on the Galaxy A05s as opposed to the HD+ on the Galaxy A04s. But surprisingly the Galaxy A05s doesn’t offer 90Hz refresh rate.
The rear cameras are the same but the selfie camera has been bumped to 13MP from 5MP.
Samsung has also increased the RAM and storage capacity from 4GB + 64GB to 6GB + 128GB.
