Reliance Jio increased the prices of its prepaid and postpaid plans. It also made changes to its unlimited 5G data benefits by restricting it only to plans that offer 2GB data or more. So with the price increase, unlimited 5G data has also become more expensive now. But the new prices are effective only from July 3rd so you still have a few days to reap the existing benefits.

Reliance Jio unlimited 5G data
- As mentioned above, the revised prepaid and postpaid plans will be effective from July 3rd onwards. This means that until then you can continue using the same Reliance Jio prepaid or postpaid plan and avail the existing benefits.
- It should also be noted that the existing benefits will not expire on July 3rd. So the old benefits will continue to work as normal even after July 3rd. Only if you recharge after July 3rd will the revised prices come into effect.
- As for unlimited 5G data, you have the option to avail of this by recharging or queuing your plan. You can even recharge two annual plans that offer unlimited 5G and get the same benefits for two years, as confirmed by this X user.
- So you might want to check your Jio plan and try to recharge on the current price before the hiked tariffs come into effect.
Post July 3rd, only plans that offer 2GB data per data will be able to get the unlimited 5G data offer. It's also worth mentioning that Jio will not increase tariffs for JioPhone and JioBharat users.
