There have been reports of Redmi working on a new tablet, dubbed the Redmi Pad SE 8.7, which will have 4G LTE connectivity. Now, a live image of the tablet has surfaced online, focusing on the ‘About Device’ section. This reveals some key specifications and also suggests the launch of the product could be around the corner.
Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G will come with HyperOS
- The live image, courtesy of GizmoChina, shows the tablet will be called ‘Redmi Pad SE 8.7’ and will have the model number ‘N85’.
- The name suggests the tablet will sport an 8.7-inch display compared to an 11-inch panel on the Redmi Pad SE Indian variant.
- The tablet will come with 64GB internal storage, which should be further expandable via a microSD card.
- We can see the tablet will boot Android 14-based HyperOS custom skin out of the box.
- Not much else is revealed about the tablet from the image but we believe the launch (probably in China or global markets) might be around the corner.
- It’s speculated that the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 will come with similar specifications to the Indian variant, except for the screen size.
