Redmi Note 14 series appears on IMEI, launch timeline surfaces online

The upcoming Redmi Note 14 series is said to be in the works. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this. Meanwhile, months ahead of the expected launch, the upcoming Redmi Note 14 series has been spotted on the IMEI certification website. This reveals the launch timeline of the Redmi Note 14 series, which will most likely include the Redmi Note 14 Pro, and Redmi Note 14 Pro+ as well. 

Redmi Note 14 series IMEI certification details

• The Redmi Note 14 has appeared on IMEI (via) with the model numbers 24115RA8EC for China, 24115RA8EG for Global, and 24115RA8EI for India.
• Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 14 Pro bears the model numbers 24094RAD4C for China, 24094RAD4G for Global, and 24094RAD4I for India.
• On the other hand, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ has model numbers 24090RA29C for China, 24090RA29G for Global, and 24090RA29I for India.

• As per the report, the 2409 in the model numbers confirms that these upcoming Redmi Note 14 series phones will be launched in September.
• Notably, the Redmi Note 14 series will likely debut in China this September and then head to other global markets, including India, in early 2025.

Redmi Note 14 series specifications (expected)

The Redmi Note 14 will launch as the successor of the Note 13 lineup, which includes the Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+. It currently starts at Rs 16,999 in India. Let us look at the expected specifications of the Redmi Note 14 series.

• Display: A recent report said the Note 14 series will feature a high-resolution 1.5K AMOLED display with a high refresh rate. Notably, the Note 13 Pro and Note 13 Pro+ offer a 1.5K OLED 120Hz display.
• Chipset: The upcoming Note 14 Pro might feature the Qualcomm SM7635, which hints towards the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, similar to the chipset seen on the OnePlus Nord CE4. To recall, the Note 13 Pro features the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2.
• Battery: Furthermore, the leak suggested that the Note 13 Pro might pack a 5,000mAh compared to the 5,100mAh battery on the predecessor.
