Xiaomi is all set to launch its Redmi Note 13 series in India with the devices bringing multiple upgrades to Redmi’s most important phones. However, the successor to these phones could come earlier than expected to China based on a leak by a Chinese tipster. Here is what the tipster says about the upcoming Redmi Note 14.
Redmi Note 14 series to rival Realme 12 series with similar specs
Chinese Tipster “Smart Pikachu” posted (via) on Chinese social media, Weibo, stating that the Redmi Note 14 will closely rival the Realme 12 series with a similar price range and specifications. Both the series will feature a curved display and focus on camera performance.
Based on our previous report, the Realme 12 Pro and Pro+ have already been certified through BIS for an India launch and are expected to feature the new Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. Other features include a telephoto lens for both devices. The Redmi Note 14 Pro series could similarly work on providing better optical zoom cameras.
In India, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will bring a curved display to the Redmi Note series for the first time and continue with the same 200MP main sensor from last year’s model. The Redmi Note 13 series is launching in India on January 4th while the Realme 12 Pro series could be unveiled sometime in Q1 of 2024.
