Redmi Note 12 series listed online ahead of launch: here are the variants and specifications

After launching a range of Redmi Note 11 series phones in India and other markets, Redmi appears to be readying to introduce the Redmi Note 12 lineup. But like every time, they will be unveiled in China first and gradually expand to other markets, including India. We’ve recently come across various leaks about the Redmi Note 12 series, hinting at what to expect. Now, the Redmi Note 12 and its models have been listed online-probably on an e-commerce platform, confirming the marketing name much ahead of the launch.

The Redmi Note 12 listing, as spotted by tipster Mukul Sharma, shows the lineup will include the Redmi Note 12 5G, Note 12 Pro 5G, and Note 12 Pro+ 5G. All the models listed support 5G, which is expected considering the slow rise of the latest mobile network in the country.

The Redmi Note 12 series has been listed online, which shows the phone will come in three models: the Redmi Note 12 5G, Note 12 Pro 5G, and Note 12 Pro+ 5G. All the models have 5G support. However, the listing doesn’t reveal any key specifications and the price listed is RMB 9999 for all models, which makes us believe the prices are just placeholders at the moment. This doesn’t even reveal the specifications.

Previous reports/leaks have revealed the Redmi Note 12 series may launch as early as next month, but can’t be said for certain just yet. The lineup has already bagged China’s 3C certification with the model numbers 22101316C, 22101316UCP, and 22101316UC. The listing showed one of the variants will get 210W fast charging support, possibly the Redmi Note 12 Pro+. The listing shows a new charger carrying the model number MDY-13-EU and 20VDC/10.5A max charging speed (210W).

Besides this, the standard variant might get 67W while the Pro version could arrive with 120W charging support. Lastly, the Redmi Note 12 is expected to come with a 50MP primary camera. Redmi product manager Lu Weibing mentioned that the Redmi Note series will launch every six months going forward and will be positioned as a “small flagship for performance” and “small flagship for the experience.”
