- Through Weibo, tipster Smart Pikachu said that the upcoming Redmi K80 series is expected to come with a 5,500mAh battery, an increase of 500mAh compared to the previous model.
- The upcoming series could offer different chipsets for its standard and Pro models – the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoCs, respectively.
- The K80 series is also rumoured to feature a 2K resolution display. While the tipster didn't specify the peak brightness level, the Redmi K80 devices will likely support higher peak brightness levels based on industry trends.
