Redmi K70 series launched in China last November, and the company is now planning to unveil the Redmi K80 series. While the company has yet to reveal details officially, a tipster has revealed some important details about the upcoming phones such as the chipsets, battery, display resolution, and much more.

Redmi K80 series specifications tipped

  • Through Weibo, tipster Smart Pikachu said that the upcoming Redmi K80 series is expected to come with a 5,500mAh battery, an increase of 500mAh compared to the previous model.
  • The upcoming series could offer different chipsets for its standard and Pro models – the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoCs, respectively.
  • The K80 series is also rumoured to feature a 2K resolution display. While the tipster didn’t specify the peak brightness level, the Redmi K80 devices will likely support higher peak brightness levels based on industry trends.
  • Additionally, without revealing the exact design, the tipster suggested that the upcoming Redmi K80 series smartphones will have a metal frame and glass back.

They offer storage options of up to 1TB and run on Android 14, supporting 120W fast charging. While all three models share similar specifications, there are minor variations in aspects such as the chipset, camera setup, and battery capacity.
